Every UK limited company must file annual accounts, a Corporation Tax return and a confirmation statement. We prepare them from your books, explain them in your language and submit them for you.

## What has to be filed

Three recurring obligations apply to a limited company.

- Annual accounts for Companies House
- Corporation Tax return (CT600) for HMRC
- Confirmation statement for Companies House

## Rates and deadlines

For most companies, Corporation Tax is 19% on profits up to £50,000 and 25% above £250,000, with marginal relief in between.

- Corporation Tax is payable nine months and one day after the end of the accounting period
- The CT600 return is due 12 months after the period ends
- Accounts for Companies House are due nine months after the year end

## How we handle it

Everything is prepared from the bookkeeping we keep, so the figures agree.

- Deadline calendar with reminders ahead of each date
- Figures explained to you before anything is filed
- Filed with HMRC and Companies House on your behalf, once you approve

## What people usually ask us.

### When are my accounts and tax return due?

Corporation Tax is payable nine months and one day after the end of your accounting period. The CT600 return is due 12 months after the period ends, and the accounts for Companies House nine months after your year end. Your first accounts have a longer deadline, counted from the date of incorporation. We track all of them.

### What is a confirmation statement?

An annual filing with Companies House confirming that the company's details, such as its directors, shareholders and registered office, are up to date. We prepare and file it for you.

### What rate of Corporation Tax will my company pay?

Most companies pay 19% on profits up to £50,000 and 25% on profits above £250,000, with marginal relief in between. What applies to you depends on your profits and company structure, which we review when we prepare your return.
